NeuralFrame, Inc., a medical technology company, today announced that it has completed its third SOC 2 Type II audit, performed by KirkpatrickPrice. This audit reflects NeuralFrame’s strong commitment to security and delivering high-quality services to its customers by demonstrating that the necessary internal controls and processes are in place.
A SOC 2 audit provides an independent, third-party validation that a service organization’s information security practices meet industry standards stipulated by the AICPA. During the audit, NeuralFrame’s non-financial reporting controls as they relate to security, processing integrity, and confidentiality were tested. The SOC 2 report delivered by KirkpatrickPrice verifies the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of NeuralFrame’s controls to meet the standards for these criteria.
“We are delighted to have successfully completed our third SOC2 Type II audit. NeuralFrame employs leading-edge technology and best practices to protect patient privacy and provide state-of-the-art security,” said Brian Scanlan, NeuralFrame CEO. “Our oncology data management software, KACI® (Knowledge Assistant for Clinical Information), not only provides efficiency and productivity improvement opportunities, but it also meets the rigorous security standards stipulated by the AICPA. We’re the only Cancer Registry software provider to have this credential.”
“The SOC 2 audit is based on the Trust Services Criteria,” said Joseph Kirkpatrick, President of KirkpatrickPrice. “NeuralFrame delivers trust-based services to their clients, and by communicating the results of this audit, their clients can be assured of their reliance on NeuralFrame’s controls.”
